BUYER BEWARE
When you choose to buy a shed, please remember to look for the following:
Make sure that there are 4 corner columns!
Seriously - there are shed companies out there who cut out the corners by minimising the number of columns making the shed very unstable. Other cost cutting methods include not having any purlins or girts - these are the cross beams that support all the steel sheeting. Without these the sheeting will start to sag and bow very quickly!
Make sure the shed is secured to a proper concrete base with deep footings for the columns to secure to.
Don't accept pre welded sections for the frame - these are just more weak points - a proper frame is bolted together.
Make sure all the componentry is high quality Australian Steel and not low grade imported product.
Ask to see fully approved engineer's drawings making sure they are certified by a qualified engineer!
